Traditional Medicinals make a product called Throat Coat!. It is an herbal tea with slippery elm bark and licorice, among other things!.

I personally detest the taste of the stuff ( I hate licorice), but I have used it on many occasions to soothe a dicey voice!. It works!.

Always, always, always support your voice!. Shout from your belly, not from your throat!. Do scales, low to high then high to low!. Sigh!. Yawn a lot!. If you must clear your throat, NEVER "ahem"!. Cough, hawk and spit!. Disgusting but effective!.

Do not whisper!. Whispering is tougher on your vocal cords than shouting!. If you must speak, speak softly, but with breath support!. Use your belly!.

This above all, to thine own self be true!. No wait!.!.!.!.wrong speech!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

vocal rest!. drink warm non-dairy drinks!. try not to drink tea alot because that will dry you out after a while and make it worse!. switch up Tea with another warm ( not HOT) drink!.

also, a little known trick is to eat something a little greasy!. not to much, but just a little!. it helps your vocal chords move a little more freelyWww@QuestionHome@Com

Go on vocal rest!. Certainly don't shout and only speak if you have to!. Use your voice as little as possible!.

Avoid dairy!. Drink herbal teas with some honey for soothing!.

Do steam treatments in your bathroom where you boil some water, put a towel over your head and inhale the steam!.

Hope you feel better! Good luck on the exam!Www@QuestionHome@Com
