In Skakespeare's Hamlet~~Hamlet is standing near a half dug grave!. The gravedigger tosses out a human skull ;Hamlet picks it up and says ~~who was buried here!. The gravedigger replies~~~Yorik!. Who was Yorik!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yorick was the kings jester!.hamlet knew him in his younger days and loved him!.in the english of shakespeares time they did not have what is called the group genitive that is the addition of 's to words,so hamlet could not say Yorick,the king's jester's skull!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
