I am a shy actress too! Just break out of your shell, you've got too! Acting is a great opprutunity to meet lots of new people and by the end of the whole fantabulous experience you'll be friends with everyone there~ no joke!. You get so close with your acting friends!. Counselours actually suggest that shy kids take acting classes- it is a great way to overcome shyness and stagefright!. I experienced this first hand!. You get to not be that shy 18 year old girl, it allows you to be someone else, totally different, a brave person, an outgoing and bubbly socialite!. You get to be someone else and that allows you to overcome your shyness!
Go for it, I know you can do it! I did!Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all you need to go to classes to help you build up confidence!. Then when you think you are already doing better on your confidence, then you can sign up for acting classes!. You can go to John Casablancas for classes, I go their and i took one of those classes!. When i left the class i w as not shy anymore!. Wierd isn't it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sign up!! I'm really shy as well, and I took an acting class last semester and loved it! I didn't know anyone in the class, either, but we became really close!.
If you don't sign up now, you'll probably keep putting it off!. That's what I've been saying about dance lessons for a year now!.
Don't worry about being shy!. Jenna Russell, who currently plays Dot in the Broadway revival of Sunday in the Park with George apparently started taking acting classes as a child to overcome her shyness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sign up now--mant counselors recommend this for shy people!

Don't be afraid, hon, the great part of this is that it's not YOU--you are someone else when you act, so there is no reason to be shy!. Just assign your "classroom character" boldness and courage!.
This will be EASIEST if nobody knows you!. Nobody will judge you or make fun of you, so have a ball!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think you should go for it now, get it out your way, and you would stop stressing about it once you get it over and done with!. i think youll do fine, just try not to be nervous and if your confused, or dont understand anything ask, it doesnt hurt to ask!. good luck sweety!. o yea i had answered your question about the dress and hairdo for your birthday, i found really great red dresses that i have a link too!. if youd like to see them email me, id be happy to send them too you!. my email is salamboo1016@yahoo!.comWww@QuestionHome@Com

I was the same way last year until I did a summer long performing arts program!. You should definetly go for it!. Acting has brought me out of my shell and built my confidence as a performer!. Plus I've made tons of great friends who are all interested in the same things as me!. Don't miss out!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go for it! I'm outgoing, and I love to act, but some of the best people to work with are the shy ones, because all that bottled up emotion shows up on the stage!Www@QuestionHome@Com

when i did acting class we did alot of improv

a class where you dont know anyone might be good because you can pretend that you are confident and go in there and meet some new people with similar interests

just act !Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just take one class at a time; Go for it now!. The warm up games will be fun pantomime things, most likely!. Lots of group stuff, I should think!. Have a good time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
