Any play by Shakespeare has many many layers to it!. Macbeth is one of his darker plays and one of his most popular!. But from what i took from your question you are gonna act it out!.!.!. im sure that any professional actor will have to say that playing Macbeth is a challenge since he his character is so deep and the story is so serious!.

the play isn't hard to understand as long as you know how to decypher Soliloquies!. I say just ENJOY the play!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say Macbeth is a very interesting play!. I loved it!. I did it twice in my high school!. It was just so amazing to discuss the dramatic techniques in that play!. Especially the symbolism bit of it!.!.

Anyways, seeing that you are acting it out!.!. I think you need to have 100% confidence to say his long speeches!. And look strong and valiant and show his downfall !.!. to bring out the real essence of a tragic character!

It's actually one of the simpler plays--it's the shortest, and there are no subplots!. It's thought that Shakespeare wrote it that way because he was writing for King James, who (it's said) loved the theatre but had a notoriously short attention span!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
