preteen girl?

Question: One minute monologue for a teenage/preteen girl!?

I'm looking for a one-minute monologue, preferably fairly well known, from a published play or musical (thats a must)!. I want something either dramatic or humorous, and appropriate, but not too overdone (preferably)!. It's for a theatre camp audition!. Thanks so much!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well In my Advance Theatre class we are doing Monolouges!.

Well in Musicals there really aren't any thing long enough to do monolouges!. Well if I was you i would find a part thats not the same age as me!. Teenage parts are pretty HARD to find!. An older charater would she more depth!. The Judges might get an idea that you are really flexible!. If you want something really dramatic try Shakespear, Macbeth, Anotogne or any other classical plays!. The judges might get really impressed!.

Make sure you present your self good!. DON'T go out there in shorts and a T-shirt!. Speak loud and clearly and never turn your back to the judges!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here is my advice that helped me get 2 theatre jobs! :):):)

Find funny ones with a little bit of sass, Directors love that!! Humorous ones have to be funny so no offense if you're not funny but if you are truly just not a funny person it won't work that well!.!.!.I got a couple preteen/teen monologues for myself(me, being 12 yrs!. old) from:::!.!.!.!.
