Question: Is John Robert Powers a SCAM!?!!?
Okay, So I live in Canada(no where close to a John Robert Powers) and someone from JRP and other directors are coming to my small city on this huge audition that literally brings in 1,000 actors/actresses a day! The advertisement on the most well-known radio station in my City asked this: "Do you want your child to be a star!? Do you want them to star on shows like Hannah Montana!? Then call: 555-555,555-555, 555-555!.!.AGAIN 555-555" It sounds so much like a scam buts it a big thing here!also, I've had 3 people tell me so far that it's a scam and they ask you only for money!
SO I NEED YOOOUUU TO TELL ME: "IS IT A SCAM!? IS JOHN ROBERT POWERS GOOD OR BAD!?"

Any "agency" that asks for money is a scam!.
NO legit agency or manager asks you to pay them!. That is the number one rule for people trying to get an agent!. If they want you to pay them, for a class, for pictures, for anything, it's a scam!. Legit agencies do not charge you for anything!. No matter how good it looks to you, just remember that!. I know people I've told this to, they still went to the "audition" and paid the $1000 or whatever thinking "he might know what he's talking about but he's wrong about these guys" and guess who wasn't wrong about those guys!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
This sounds so weird and suspicous!. a number called 555 is already fake they use it in how many movies on tv!. Anyhow Even if it is or isn't a scam what do you got to lose as long as you are paying for anything and they don't ask you for money!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I've only heard bad things about it!. If they ask for money then it is a scam!. Agents take a percentage of whatever you make when you have an acting gig!. They shouldn't ask for anything up front!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
they do give you good auditon opportunities, but first you have to OVER PAY for acting and modeling lessons and head shots!. they charge WAYYYYY to much!. way!. too mch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
You can tell by the hype that it is lying!. They no more get anyone into shows like Hannah Montana than I do!. IT IS A HUGE SCAM!. Do not go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
