And, lady Macbeth slowly going mad because she has blood on her hands and metaphorically can't wash it off!.

also MacBeth meets his downfall!.

On the whole, it fits the classic tragedy!. A tragedy is the falling from a high place to a low place!. We migjht view that in several ways: social, ecconomic, shear existance!. But, that's how they based these things way back when!.
