Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I have been to tons of auditions and I sing different songs from Wicked based on the play I'm auditioning for!. If you are auditioning for a play that is very upbeat and happy and fun, you should sing something like Popular, What is this Feeling!?, or Defying Gravity!. But some voice lesson teachers don't like their students to sing Wicked songs because so many other people do!. So if I were you, I would go with something less well, popular!. You might want to sing a song from a show off-Broadway!. That way, it is less likely that others will sing the same thing!. Here is where you can find a list of some off-Broadway songs that you can easily choose 16 bars out of based on your voice (scroll down the list for some songs)!.
