Nobody's really one hundred percent certain what Shakespeare was talking about for sure, I read once it was slang for holly leaves, or it could have just literally been the curly hair of the bats!. I did ask some pagan friends a few years ago and they really didn't know of any spells that would have that as an element!. It's poetic license that has caught on because in Shakespeare's day as now bat are considered bad mojo!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
