I can't remember who by! Anyway, I'll explain a little about the movie - It is about a girl who can sing, she sings in the chorus of an opera style show!. Her father died when she was younger, and the lady who helps run the shows at this opera adopted her!. That is why she is there!. While she was growing up at the opera place, singing and dancing, a strange voice seemed to speak to her through the walls and teach her how to sing better and better!. One day, she gets the lead part in a new show because the other lead left!. She's really happy!. The other lead comes back after a few shows, and takes back her role!. Then the Phantom of the Opera comes and causes havoc!. He is in love with Christine (the main girl) and he was her 'angel of music' (music teacher) all along!. He demands she sing in the show!. A man called Raul is also in love with Christine, and Christine loves him!. Cut a long story short, theres havoc and music and blah blah - and then the Phantom grabs Raul and says to Christine he will only let him live if she stays with the Phantom under the opera house (where he lives!.) Christine kisses him and persuades him to let both of them go!. End!. The Phantom isnt actually a phantom!. He is a deformed man who was forced to perform in a freak show as a boy (he has a dodgy face or something) and of course, he wears a mask!. He lives under the opera, because the same woman who adopted Christine, let the Phantom escape from the freak show!. I am not sure if this explanation for the Phantom rings true in every remake of the story!. Theres loads, loads more - but it'll take ages to type out! Her voice got like that because her tutor (the phantom)!. She thinks her tutor is her dead father's ghost but its not!. The phantom falls in love with her but she is in love with someone else!. He gets mad and starts killing people in the theater!. He finally lets his feelings for her go when she betrays him by taking of his mask!.
