Why do your singing talents affect your acting talents!?!? You know there are tons of amazing, talented, and successful actors out there that cannot sing!. The same goes with singers!.
Just because there are all these teen sensations that are known for singing, acting, and dancing talents, does not mean they can do it!. I mean, sure, it is a triple treat!. But in reality lots of them suck!. They cannot do what they claim they can!. In fact, I would be embarrassed to be expected to sing, act, and dance, when I could not!.
What I am trying to say is: Pursue what you enjoy!. If that is signing, then go for it!. If that is acting the congratulations! Just do not do something because people want it from you, do it for yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can always focus on non-musical plays!.

I will say, though, that it never hurts to take a few singing lessons just in case you get offered a role in a musical!. I am not a melodic singer, but I can pull off roles in certain musicals because I have learned how to move and "act" a song!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just do what you can!. Many Actors have done Musicals that did not sing very well!. Its all in your Heart and Love of doing things that wins them over!. Gene Kelly did not sing verry well he was more of a dancer!. But his Song " Singing in the Rain" won him an award!.

i'm Pretty sure that [if] you are an okay singer it's okay to sing for a musical, or something along the lines of that, but you DO NOT have to be a good singer to act Dur lol
