Question: I wanna go to acting school but i dont know what to write in my application essay!Help!!?

Im sure about wanting to be an actress but somehow you gotta convince those people at the school to take you in!For this i need a very convincing essay about why i wanna be an actress!Please help someone!Www@QuestionHome@Com

What a coincidence, in a couple of hours I'll be scoring a hundred-odd scholarship essays!.!.!.here's what I'd look for you to do!.

Write honestly about how you developed a passion for acting!. Provide specific experiences!. Make the entire essay a narrative, a story of how you came to be who you are as a performer!.

As you do this, also try to make a few additional points:

--Make them understand that you are realistic about acting!. Acting schools get very tired of students who want to become big stars; that almost never happens!. Communicate your desire to act for it's own sake, that you don't mind playing supporting roles, that it's the work itself that you find fulfilling and any fame that comes with it would be a bonus!.

--Let them know that their school is, in your careful judgment, an ideal place to help you get ahead in your goals!.

--Show an "attitude of gratitude" toward anyone who's helped you so far: teachers, family, directors, fellow actors!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
