The reason that it is brought up is because the conspirators wanted the mob to believe that Caesar was power hungry and wanted everything for himself!. Mark Anthony in his speech reads that in his will that Caesar gave all the he had to the people, which Mark Anthony sarcastically compares to the conspirators claims that he was a selfish tyrant!. This causes the mob who had been on the conspirators side turn against them to such a degree that they must flee Rome!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
