Singing in the west end?

Question: Singing in the west end!?

Recently, I have been watching I'd Do Anything, and I started singing along with the Nancy's to most of their songs!. I then got told, that I could sing, and I was wondering if I should go for a show like that if they do another!? It is my dream to perform in the West End, but I will be going college!. i am in the same postiton as you although ihave been there alot longer than you! i have been trying to get into the west end and am actually getting closer to my dream!
i started out carrying on with my education but in my free time i ahd a singing tutor, when i was good enough i was put in touch with a manager who has got me gigs and performances on the stage! its like work you hvae to start at the bottom to get to the top!!
i would advice you to get yourself a tutor and then look into a manager!

As cockney angel suggests, it might be good to get a singing tutor!. If they do make another programme next year and you might be suitable, go for the audition - it won't hurt!. Be prepared for rejection though!. It might not be that you aren't good enough, but not suitable for the role!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
