Anything is possible. However, there really is no problem in using a stage name. You can get backlash from an ethnic group if you change your name from something that sounds very ethnic. For instance, Martin Sheen was Ramon Estevez. He changed it because at the time it was hard to get work as a Hispanic. However, most people don't mind that he did. Some do resent it though.

But as far as real problems, there are none. You should, however, use your real name in any legal dealings and on paychecks. Simply let the producers know how you want to be billed.
