What about Gilbert and Sullivan?

Question:i have to write a 3 page report on Gilbert and Sullivan by monday and i cant find more than 3 paragraphs about them. if you have info i would love it

One of the most interesting facts about G & S is that, after their first success, both men took all the credit and therefore ruined their friendship. But they knew they could have continued success, so they still collaborated - by letter, trading insults to one another. Also G & S generally wrote their operettas for a specific rep. company and that is why the characters in each play seem so similiar.

Then you just aren't trying! There is so much info out there on them.

These men were great satirists, their tumultuous working relationship was well known - it was amazing that they were ever able to finish anything.
They didn't invent operetta but they sure made it famous.

Try a little harder to do your own homework, but be careful - you might actually learn something!
