Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Romeo poisoned himself when he thought Julliet was dead. When she woke up and saw him dead she tried to drink some of the poison. But since it was all gone she stabbed herself.

First Romeo killed himself by poison, because he thought Juliet was dead and it wouldn't be worth living without her.

Then Juliet saw his dead body, and she stabbed herself because it wouldn't be worth living without him.

Romeo drank poison i think and juliet stabbed herself

ummm you have't read the book or seen the movie???ok here's what happened....
Friar Lawrence offers juliet a drug, which will put her into a death-like coma for forty-two hours. She is to take it and, when discovered apparently dead, she will be laid in the family crypt. While she is sleeping the Friar will send a messenger to inform Romeo, so that he can rejoin her when she awakens.
The messenger, however, does not reach Romeo. Romeo then learns of Juliet's "death" from his servant Balthasar. Grief-stricken, he buys poison from an apothecary, returns to Verona in secret, and visits the Capulet crypt. He encounters Paris who has come to mourn Juliet privately. Paris confronts Romeo believing him to be a vandal, and in the ensuing battle Romeo kills Paris. He then says his final words to the comatose Juliet and drinks the poison to commit suicide. Juliet then awakens. Friar Lawrence arrives and, realizing the cause of the tragedy, begs Juliet to leave. She refuses, and at the side of Romeo's dead body, she stabs herself with her lover's sword.

Juliet:
What's here? a cup, closed in my true love's hand?
Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end:
O churl! drunk all, and left no friendly drop
To help me after? I will kiss thy lips;
Haply some poison yet doth hang on them,
To make die with a restorative.
(kisses him)
Thy lips are warm

Yea, noise? then I'll be brief. O happy dagger!
(Snatching ROMEO's dagger)
This is thy sheath;
(Stabs herself)
there rust, and let me die.
(Falls on Romeo and dies)
