Question:What is Brutus's reason for joining the conspiracy?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: What is Brutus's reason for joining the conspiracy?

He believes he's doing it for the good of the empire, due to Caesar's potential for becoming a ruthless dictator. His decision is partly influenced by that one other conspirator.. I forget his name.

Just looked it up, it's Cassius. Cassius basically convinces Brutus that Caesar's already a power hungry leader, appealing to Brutus' sense of pride concerning the empire, etc
