Starting an acting career.....?

Question:im thinking about just being an extra, but thats gonna get me nowhere, because ppl usually do it 4 money. so how do i star an acting career? plus, im only thirteen-fourttenish, so its hard finding roles.

startupactingcareer.com and actingbiz.com have great articles that give you a lot of info about how to kick start a career. When looking for small, short/student films to build your resume, look at the listings on talent6.com and actorsaccess.com for roles in a city near you. Also do as much community theater you can.

i want to be an actor what I noticed is that you should take Drama in school if you had stagefright it helps it

To start- just take all the classes you can. Audition for ALL regional shows you can. Branch out from there. TAKE IT SLOW. Don't start trying to be a movie star now because that will only frustrate you and make you want to quit within a year. Take it easy, one step at a time.
