The musical Gyspy (B'way 1959) is about entertainer Gyspy Rose Lee and her life as a child performer. When her sister, the star of the act runs away, Louise's (Gypsy) mother, Rose, pushes her daughter into the spotlight. Rose attempts to live through her daughter her own lost dreams of stardom.
Book by Arthur Laurents, Music by Jule Styne, Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

I could not find Eloise at Christmas Time at Amazon.com, so I don't know if any of these songs are used in the movie or not. But this is the complete list of musical numbers from the musical.

It's about an overbearing mom who wants her daughter to be an actress, but instead her daughter ends up being a stripper. Based on a true story.
