Is there any way to get DVD's of Broadway plays?

Question:Mainly looking for Spamalot and/or Avenue Q. Havent been able to find em. Do they even exist O_o?

What you're looking for is Broadway bootlegs. They're {illegally} taped shows by people in the audience.

Spamalot and Ave Q are way too recent to release anything on film yet. If everyone could own a comparatively inexpensive version for their home, why spend money to see the show on B'way? That's why it takes so long for any hit B'way show to be filmed as a movie. 5 years from closing is usually standard. Also some stage to film transfers don't work, so many productions are never filmed.
