First off...why are you playing Demetrius?

On to your question: strange as it sounds, I've actually had to have training in playing a guy also. Apparently, my "manly movements" weren't exaggerated enough.

One major thing you have to keep in mind is...well, the anatomy of a guy. Your walking changes due to this. Your legs must be a little more spread out when you walk.

Also, almost all movements become more aggressive and forceful when playing a guy.

A Shakespearian guy is always dominant also. He should never shy away from anyone. If a man wants to fight, he'll fight. If a woman flirts, he flirts back. Thus, your chin should always be held high. Never look at the ground because Shakespearian guys are almost never shy.

That's all the advice I can give you right now, I think.

I've had to act as a guy before so here are some hints.
1.) go out side and just watch guys and see how they walk
2.) get a baseball cap and tuck your hair in it so your aperence is differential and practice looking like one

in to know time you'll be able to act like a guy.

hope i helped!

Hey in our production we had a Gay Man playing that part.
I dont see why you cant do it.

firstly relax and remember that in Shakespeare's time all acting was done by men, so if men can act like women, women can act like men
make your posture more rigid and your movements a little more harsh, but do not over-exaggerate, or you will look foolish. your outward appearance is not important, it is your mannerisms, so make sure that you do nothing that you as a person do, no crossing your legs or playing with you hair, and then act as Demetrius, who is proud and poetic, so as far as male parts go you have quite an ambiguous one
