Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Can I act looking like this?

Question:I have "vampire" teeth because there was not enough room in my mouth so they grew in from the top! Please be honest when I ask you this because if you aren't then you are not really helping me! Do I need to get this fixed before auditioning and stuff? Will I get turned down because of it? (I want to act on T.V.) Can I be a successful actress with braces?

Your link doesn't work, but if you want to fix your teeth, do it while you're still young. It can take years to get work on television, if you ever get it, and by then your braces will be off.

i cant see the pic

Many Actors and Actresses do their job without straight and perfectly white teeth. Many also get surgery for them. Do what you think will be best for you.

1. Don't post your picture online. Especially in a school uniform. Someone could figure out where you live.

2. Don't post other people's pictures online. Especially in a school uniform. Someone could figure out where they live.

3. Most young actors with braces have the kind that are on the inside of the teeth where you can't see them.

Everyone has fang teeth. Yours may be a bit more pronounced, but not very much judging from the pic I was able to view.
I think you are probably just overly self-conscious about it.
Don't let that stop you from auditioning. If you are talented, your teeth aren't going to be that much of an obstacle.

Hey,

I have teeth exactly like yours and in my experience, no, it shouldn't hold you back. Your teeth look fairly straight and rather white, some crowding but nothing extremely noticeable! I have been in films and unless you are laughing violently or smiling unnaturally eye teeth (our problem teeth) go completely unnoticed. You have a lovely smile, if you have talent don't worry about it! Good luck to you, never give up :)

Hell Yes. You suit your teeth so don't worry about it. Actors arent supposed to be perfect. If you want to be an actress go for it. I'm trying to be an actress and ive got a gap in-between my top front teeth i just take it as an advantage something that makes me different and makes me stand out in a crowd
