She might be if you want to date her, but with regard to her teachings they are phenomenal and in no way outdated, her main tennant was observation. Observing how you react in situations and applying it to your character to make it more 3 dimensional, she is fantastic.

Pretty much. While observation is a good way to learn to act, what Hagan has you do with it promotes an overthoughtfullness in the actor, resulting in an artificiality in his performance (Acting) when today's better actors do not act, they react.
