Is Dallas TX a good spot to start an Acting Career?

Question:Is it a good spot to start an acting career? I am in the process of getting an acting coach then from there an Agent. But Is it a good place to start outside of LA and NY?

Dallas is among the best. I hope between the coach and the agent, you plan to be in lots of plays and indie films to build a strong resume. I almost always recommend Dallas first among the best places to get established as an actor, which you certainly want to do before going to LA or NYC.

theres to much competition in big citys like ny or la

I guess it would depend on what type of acting you are trying to get into. And if you are including some modeling in there too (like for commercials and stuff like that).
I haven't heard of Texas as being an acting start off spot but I would imagine it would have some business. I don't think that big TX companies would ALWAYS get their advertising done in L.A and NY. But I believe L.A., NY and even Miami are the best places. Especially L.A.
