Rowan Atkinson as Fagin in "Oliver" genius casting or what!?

Question:This is one show I'd get off my bum to go and see. Rowan Atkinson playing Fagin. I think it's sheer genius. Whoever got the idea of casting him should be given a showbiz accolade.

I think it is great. Those people who disagree with him being cast are only looking at him and will always look at him as Mr Bean but he can lots of different characters in lots of different plays. It is like that with Daniel Radcliife , when he played Jack in My boy Jack , he was worried that people would look at it as Harry Potter in a war but , once everyone saw it , that wasn't the case - he was fab!

Atkinson is a very talented guy, I'm sure he'll make a great Fagin.

He's absolutely perfect character-wise, and fi he's got a good voice, the casting director should get a massive bonus...
