What r some good casting call websites I can go to, to get an acting audition?

It's usually not a scam unless you pay money, but some casting sites still won't help you get jobs. You can try the sites I listed below, but don't pay money to audition.

do indies for free or little, and everything else should pay you, and well..... if they say you have to pay for photos, headshots, or anything else... politely say thank you for your time and RUN for the door....

Do independent films and videos.... all that you can...

look online if you dont know anyone doing films in your area...
some of the online casting sites that can get you started are....
http://www.filmcastingcalls.com it is one of the "conglomerates" in that they post their top ten most active film sites....

another is http://www.casting-call.us/ , although i have never used them i hear they are good as well....

the net has changed how casting works in that you can see big and small productions and find indie projects as well....
do any small film in your area for free... the more exposure the better, and many have gotten much farther by being in a hit indie production RATHER than spending the rest of your life standing in line for cattle calls..... (huge lines of open calls)
