What I say to that is "Bravo!" The only way to become an actress is to believe. If you believe you are an actress, its just one step away to being an actress. And to the agent thing, I have something else to say. Go online and find some way to audition for anything in your area. Once you do that, try bigger shows, bigger places. Soon you'll have thousands of people who worship you, and will do anything for their star. That's the key. You won't have to look online because you'll have people who will help you, more friends, and they'll help. Your friend could even be your agent. I know this seems a little complicated, but I did it, and now I have my very own agent.

By the way, don't listen to that other girl who replied. Says shes the acting queen or something like that? She's not telling the truth. She's not the acting queen. I think that there is no acting queen, at least not until you believe in your acting magic. Then we'll have a real queen.

I think you mean "Aspiring Actress." It remains to be seen whether you are inspiring or not.

Becky, you are an aspiring actress until your performances inspire people. Then you will be inspiring. Key to acting is good language skills.
This is a long hard road. 90% of actors are out of work most of the time. I would encourage you to study drama in college - it looks great on a resume and you make a lot of contacts this way. Also keep your eyes open for local productions - there are plenty of amateur groups, and everybody starts as an amateur. Keep your eye on craigslist.org ; read the Village Voice, read trade magazines, join fan clubs - really immerse yourself in it. It helps if you can speak a foreign language too.

First off it's aspiring not inspiring.
Ok well before you try to find an agent you need to get involved in theatre. You need to start reading plays, working on monologues, and doing plays. I'm sure you have a community theatre in your area. School maybe? Classes? an agent needs to see someone who is experienced and is going to make them some money. If you have no proof that you can help them, theyre not going to help you to succeed. plain and simple. So start working on building a resume, THEN look for an agent.
