How did all the child actors become famous?

Question:I mean, Dakota Fanning, Cole Sprouse, Dylan Sprouse, Abigail Breslin. All those kids, how did they become famous? I always try to do what they did. But I cant find any auditions open. And most of them are scams

Their parents got them started early AND they had the talent and personalities that made it all come together. You may find autitions but have you had any training? Agents aren't going to take you at this point without experience and training.

You will have to get into classes and find auditions in order to build experience ans show that you are castable otherwise why should they bother with you? They want to make money, simple as that. If they think you might make them money they may take you on as a client. Show them you mean it. Take initiative and work hard for what you want.

It's not all that hard to find auditions. Depending on where you live, check actorssaccess.com and backstage.com. LAcasting.com is good mostly for commercials BUT it costs more than the others and if you're not doing commercials it's not worth it. Commercials can be a good way to get into the union though. If these don't help you because you don't live in a aplace where a lot is going on, do a search for the word "film" and your state name and see what sires come up. Search them throroughly for audition and class info.

This business isn't for the lazy or faint of heart. You also have to have endurance. It takes 50-100 auditions in general to get a role, sometimes more. Remember, you NEVER pay to audition and never go with a company that finds you in a mall or similar place and offers bundled services like agent, manager, classes and pics all in one! It's a definite scam.

It's very unlikely you'll find auditions on your own! (Legit auditions anyway!) What you need to do is get an agent to represent you. First get some professional headshots done in your area. They can be somewhat expensive but it's worth it! They can cost about $200 or more depending on where you live, but you get a good amount of headshots. Send these headshots out to agencies in your area, or in other major locations. If they are interested, they will contact you. It's a process, a long process, but if you stay motivated and determined, someone will come around. But only do this because you enjoy acting, not because you want to be famous! You'll be headed down a road for destruction if that's the case! Also, make sure the agency isn't asking you for any money if you sign!!!! If they do, it's a scam! I know that's a lot of info, but trust me I made it as short as possible! Hope this helps and perhaps I'll see you in a movie or show soon! :-)
