Suessical the Musical is always really fun! Right now our school is doing a production of The Music Man. Some other suggestions are Fiddler on the Roof, Annie, Grease, Guys and Dolls, School House Rock Live! Jr., (our school did this one year and it was so much fun!) High School Musical, The Sound of Music, or Cats.

Sweeny Todd, Seussical, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Wizard of Oz...

If you want something fun, The Producers is funny and has excellent songs. Hairspray or Grease would also be good options.

I have done the Music Man, King and I, Oklahoma, School House Rock, Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the techno colored coat.

my Fav is Joseph I did that in 7th grade it ws alot of fun. And we SOLD OUT. But you have to cast people who CAN sing

Some fun plays with big casts:

Annie (main characters, plus oprahs, staff at Warbucks)
Seussical (OMG...so many characters. many leads!!)
Anything Goes (so many good parts.)
Grease (pink ladies, t-birds, teaching staff, cha-cha, eugene, patty, ect.)
Wizard of Oz (dorothy, tin man, scarecrow, lion, witch, gultch, auntie em, zeke, hickory, hunk, muchkins, guards)
Sound of Music (children, maria, captain, baroness, nuns, german musicians in the show)
