Position:Home>Theater & Acting> If I can't remember the name of a duologue I performed...?

Question:During high school in my drama class, we did a performance of a collection of short skits, monologues, or duologues.

If I can't remember the name of a duologue I performed and I want to put it on my resume for experience in theatre, what should I do?

If everyone listed every single small skit, monologue or scene they played in school on their resume, it would be misrepresentation. You can't say you did the play "Our Town" when all you did was a scene from it, as an example. There's a huge difference between a one time performance in a classroom and being part of the whole creative process that goes into rehearsal and performance of any show.

What you could list is the Title of the collection of skits, etc. that you performed.

Are you still in contact with your teacher or a classmate who was there? do you remember what it was about...maybe someone here will know what play it was from.

First I would contact someone that was in it and would possibly remember, then I would post a question describing it up here for someone to answer. If neither of those works I would try searching online, but if nothing else just put the whole name of the performance on your resume, no one is going to check to see if you were really there or not.
