Question:I am in the play High School Musical and I play the role of Sharpay. [She's the antagonist with big blonde hair.] I have Reddish brown hair and the director told me that I don't need a wig. But I was wondering. Should I get a blonde wig? Or keep my natural red hair?

when we did hsm in my school. i was playing gabriella and i got hair extensions. but the girl that was playing sharpay had red hair so what she did is to color it just for the show.
If you use the wig, ill be uncomfortable and you have the risk of it to fall in the middle of a dance number so i recommed not to. Besides it looks fake.So keep your natural hair if you dont wanna dye it.

    if you want to play the part correctly yes but if you want to be your own sharpay stay with the red
    omg definitley get a blonde wig or dye it or SOMETHING.
    sharpay needs her signature blonde hair.
    You should get a wig. If you're Sharpay, people wouldnt reconize you with red hair. And you'e suppose to look like the person right?
    You should listen to the director and get a wig or you will get kicked out of the play. BYE!

    You probably should, just because it is one of Sharpay's main physical traits. If you dont feel comfortable with it, however, you should definately be your own Sharpay with natural hair.
    you could dye it with a temporary dye, but if your hair is really dark red it might not work and come out more orangey. you could try temporary dye on one section of your hair (like underneath) and see how it turns out. to get a really good wig that wouldn't look fake it would probably cost good money and i don't think you want to spend that
