doo it
no regrets right!
=) good luck

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Love Song? The only one I can think of is not upbeat but I am quite a bit older than you :-) What's it from?

You should absolutely audition but follow all the guidelines and be as prepared as you can be. Dress (or bring clothing to change into) so that you can dance comfortably. This is a dance heavy show so bring your best up to date moves.

Whatever you plan to do for your monologue, taylor it toward the character you hope to get. If you don't care and you only want to get cast, choose something fun. The library has tons of monologue books and for something like this I'm sure it's fine that you choose any piece you like. Probably the shorter the better. For most auditions I recommend choosing a piece from an actualy play or work but for this, it probably doesn't matter. Any high school thing will do. If you have trouble locating the books ask the librarian for help, but really if you look up monologues in the catalogue you'll find them. The selection available online is fairly limited.

good luck,
Marianne

Sounds great!
As long as your rents are okay with it..
i reccomend going with a friend just because they tend to give you more confidence. Also, for your monologue, I reccommend doing something snarky or spoiledish if you want to be someone like Sharpay, or a monologue that is really sincere if you want to be someone like Gabriella. Hopefully get a funny monologue! They love that, and show your personality! Look pretty :D

you really didnt say why you wouldnt want too.

so i guess you should

good luck!
