Voice Actress?

Question:Does anyone know how to become a voice actress? or at least, get started? I'm clueless on how to get started. Oh and a voice actress is where they do voices for cartoons and animations. I thought that would be a fun career. anyway thanks!!

Start by getting some voice acting classes or doing a workshop with a good voice actor/actress. I was lucky enough to do one with Michelle Ruff but where ever you can get one, its a good way to start. At the workshop, you should definitely get some time on the microphone. The person running the workshop should help you control your voice and work on projecting, speaking as if to a person, and getting into your character. After you feel that you are comfortable with your skills, you should get an agent and they will help you to find jobs as a voice actress.
