Question:A modeling/ acting application asks for "Union Affiliations." What is this? I'm probably going to feel really stupid after people answer but oh well....

Don't feel stupid, there are many unions for performing artists, Equity (theatre), AFTRA (tv and radio), SAG (screen actors).

It's just a question about which unions you have been forced to join to get a paycheck.
