Going to a callback audition when you were not invited.

it means that you didnt recieve a callback, but you showed up to it anyway

Crashing a callback, in layman's terms, is going to a callback when you were not specifically invited by the casting director, director, choreographer, or whoever.

It's highly, highly, HIGHLY frowned upon. Not only are your chances of getting cast slim to nil, the person in charge will most likely know you aren't supposed to be there and you'll earn a bad reputation with the theatre company.
