I do know one website where you can sign up and agents can see your resume.

Not exactly. The best thing to do is get an agent...but the most you can find out about are independent films and local theaters. It also depends where you live. I live in Atlanta, so there are many opportunities. But if you live in a small city, send your headshot and resumes to Disney Channel people or MTV people. Most television shows will accept mailed-in headshots and the addresses are easy to find.

you have to go to a thing called an agency. If you go to any good bookshop, ask the assistant for a book called Contacts (it'll prob. be under theatre genre)
In this book it give a whole veriety of agencies to call... choose one and phone them up.

These people will get you the auditions.

Be careful! A true agency wont cost a penny until you actually get a role in a production. They take up to 12% of your earnings.
Some fake agencies charge monthly subscriptions and other scams. Don't go with these people.

Although true agencies may ask for up to £100 to get some quality head shots of you to send to clients and pupblish in their books.

Hope that helps :)
