Has anyone seen the musical wicked and if so what did you think?

Question:it's a good show, it has some very regular fans which i feel tend to get to over enthusisatic about the show and at times can be quite loud while in the show, when showing their support on apprectiation for the show performer, but go and see it, i'm sure you'll enjoy it has some beautiful songs

no i didn't cause the ad on the telly was rubbish.i bet it was rubbish anyway

Who played Dorothy? Did Will Smith reallly make an appearence as the Lion (a role he will reprise in the film) and why is Over the Rainbow not on the soundtrack.

I've seen it and I love it. The songs are amazing. It has had a profound impact on me and my life.

To the first answerer:Wicked is not rubbish as you say, the commercials(adverts) do not do it justice in any way whatsoever.

To the second answerer: You never see Dorothy or the Lion because it was decided not to show them. Somewhere over the rainbow is not a song in wicked, but the notes for the 'Unlimited' theme are the same as over the rainbow.

It was OK,my girlfriend liked it

I think it's ok. It's just not my type of show....the music is a little bland and some of the dialogue is cheesy. It has HUGE sets, though, and some neat special effects.

My dream is to see that musical...

I've never seen it on Broadway, but have watched two different but full versions of it on YouTube and countless other videos of single songs. I don't think the musical has amazing music or anything, but the songs are very catchy and they have really neat light effects. It has a good message, too, and some of the lines are cute. It all depends in the person: I think it's great, others think it's ridiculous.
So go see it so you can form an opinion for yourself. :^)
