Position:Home>Theater & Acting> I need a Script! Please Help! (10 points for best)?

Question:My idiot English teacher is making me write a script for a puppet theater. I don't want it longer than 5-10 minutes.

It has to do with the Renaissance also...

If you could set me up with a simple idea, my parters and I can easily ad-lib the rest.

Please don't vote for answers because I will pick the story I use.

Leonardo da Vinci is arguing with Mona Lisa and her father. Mona Lisa wants a portrait that will make her look beautiful. Her father wants the portrait to make her look rich. Leonardo says, "The only interesting thing about Mona is a goofy little smile."

Father says, "The one paying the bill should get to decide."

Mona says, "I will burn the picture if it is not beautiful."

Leonardo wants more money because he is being asked to paint a false picture and his reputation will suffer. Father refused to pay more money. Mona insists that she will not smile unless Leonardo agrees to make her look beautiful. Leonardo says he doesn't need her to smile or even model because he can paint the picture from memory, and that would be better anyway because she's ugly.

Mona slaps Leonardo. Father grabs Mona to keep her from beating up Leonardo. Leonard holds his head and moans. Mona runs off stage and there is a loud crash. Leonardo says, "Hey, she knocked over my easel and all the paints."

Father runs off stage and grabs Mona and drags her back on stage and holds her while she struggles, grunting and groaning. Father says, "I'll hold her still while you paint."

Leonardo starts waiving a paint brush around, painting the portrait while Mona struggles and screams and her Father holds her tight. Leonardo says "Make her smile".

Mona screams, "I won't smile."

Father yells, "Tickle, Tickle."

Leonardo says, "Perfect. Got it. You're gonna love this."

Mona breaks away and attacks Leonardo. Father tries to get her off of Leonardo. All three are screaming and yelling as the curtain closes.

Then the curtain opens and all three puppets bow repeatedly to thunderous applause.
