Do you have to live in Cali to audition for the Hannah Montana movie?

Question:They have information posted on where to send your resume and photo for consideration for casting of principle roles for the Hannah Montana movie. I live in Illinois, and I was wondering if they would even consider me or if they are only going to call people to audition who live near LA. Should I not even bother?

It'd help if you live in LA....

They might ask you to come out to audition....

And it would help if you had an agency in LA....

But I don't know where you've gotten your information from for the movie....

But take it as someone who's met her, she's nothing special....

Yes you have to be in LA. You cannot get an agent in LA if you do not live there unless you are a star. Do not bother. Better you should get experience and training where you are and learn how to become an actor a little later on.
