Rapunzel costume?

Question:My sister is in a school play and is playing Rapunzel. She has to make her own costume. There are no real requirments for the costume, except for that it is a dress/ skirt.

What do you recommend? What kind of costume would look Rapunzel-ish?

Well the dress for her time lets say was around like Shakespeare time!! A very long dress! Strapless or long selves . . Wish her good luck ...hope I have helped you some??!!
