Hi, Maybe check out Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA at www.su.edu . They are known for their conservatory and have tons of great students studying acting, singing, instrumental majors, etc. Also the students perform great plays every year, etc. I went there for Business, but the conservatory is what it's well known for. There are lots of students in the conservatory from all over the US. Good luck!!

Are you asking about what college in Ohio to attend, or what college to attend if you want to pursue your career in Ohio?

I'll assume it's the former. I would recommend Ohio State University (great program and great community theatres around to gain experience) or Cleveland State University.

You need to get out of Ohio and to NYC or LA. Those are the meccas of acting in America and studying anywhere else but those places is silly. It's best to study nearest as you can to those places because those are the places you are going to be working in. If you're doing theater focus on NYC. Film, focus on LA. Also remember that acting is a career you don't need a degree in to be in. Just because you have a degree in acting doesn't mean you will work in it. Consider a conservatory program or something similar.
