Question:I want to submit my headshot to be an extra in a movie. They are doing the casting for extras in Tennesse. On one board I saw that had a link to it, it said Tennesse talent only. But it didn't say anything about having to live in Tennesse on the Tennesse film site or in the blog about the casing. I live in Southern Illinois, and I am only about 3 hours from Nashville. I go there all the time and my cousin lives there so I could stay with her if I were to get a part. I don't want the fact that I live in Illinois to lessen my chances of getting a part, so should I just omit my illinois address from my letter and put my cousins? Or should I write something in the letter like, i will be living at this tennesse address starting in may (since that is when school lets out and when the filming begins)? Or should I just put the tennesse address on the letter and not even mention it? I do however, have to put what school I go to, which is a community college, so I don't know if they will think

If you are willing to get up and go at a day's notice and stay with your cousins for as long as they may need you (one day, 3 days, 2 weeks), then put your cousins address when you submit. If they are only asking for local talent, then they will throw out your submission if it has an IL address on it.

Go ahead, put your school and all the other info. You could say that you will be at the TN address starting ____. Don't even mention your other address, it doesn't matter. All they care about is when you're available.

** They don't need "proof" of address, but you will have to fill in an address for where your paycheck should be sent and you will have to bring ID to the set.

Provided that they are willing to let you stay there and you have reliable transportation, I would submit it with the cousin's address, they want to know you are local so you will be able to make it to the shoot without having any problems. (I live in Northern Californa and sometimes take advantage my southern california's family hospitality as well, but I am an adult and have my own transportation)

Because you are a minor are your parent's going to accompany you and take you to the shooting? Or are your aunt and uncle willing to take off of work and chaperone you?

They will need to talk to the responsible adult.

Go and audition. The best person for the role is who they aregoing to pick. If you outshine the others, they aren't going to turn you down just because you do not live in Tennessee. List the Tennesee address and answer questions only if you are asked.

tennessee talent only means you have to be a resident of that state. it never hurts to ask so go for it (hannah montana movie i'm guessing) if there is a number you can call try that first to get a reaction
