Question:I am 14 years old from the Uk and want to be an actress so much it hurts..
I am already with a musical theatre company and i am taking a gcse in drama..
I was just wondering how old do you have to be, how much does it cost and what qualifications do you need to get in to a drama school? i want it so much it hurts!!

I have linked you to the National Council for Drama Training website. Look in their student section and hopefully it will answer some (if not all) of your questions. The cost may be difficult to guess at - depending on where you live means that accommodation costs and/or travel will have to be taken into consideration. Books and equipment may also cost too, but I am sure that each drama school will give an estimated cost of such things. Good luck.

are you from the UK or in the UK? to be an actor in the UK, you have to go to University or to a professional academy to study acting. It costs a bundle, you will need lots of experience acting and have to pass an audition by doing monologues.
