Actor That Needs Help!?

Question:Im from Iowa, and Im 15. I was wondering if you could give me some all around help with acting, its what I want to do for my life. Any sites, monologues, camps near me, colleges to go to for acting, anything?

Unfortunately Iowa isn't such a great market for acting careers. The only thing I may suggest is to keep your eyes open for local stuff as far as schools and colleges as I'm not familiar with Iowa schools and there are plenty of acting schools but you'd have to move out of state(and be able to afford the tuition) like the New York Academy in NY(Angelina Jolie went there) if you want to see if you can try your luck at getting an agent, go to the SAG website and only look for SAG agencies. You can probably find some in Iowa or even in LA or NY. You would just have to be able to travel if you get jobs out of state. Send them all headshots and resumes(the more you send out to, the more chance you might get someone to respond) and if you don't get answers, try again in a few weeks or every month.
