Position:Home>Theater & Acting> NYU VS Julliard?

Question:I have been acting since I was 6 years old. I have done theater and tv/film. I have been in more than 25 plays... But in the last couple years I have focused on tv/film. The fact is I am really bored on theater. I also cannot sing, though. I want to focus on tv/film. NYU is my dream school! I also want to be a journalist. So if I go to Julliard I couldn't follow a degree in it. And journalism is also my passion, but acting will always beat it. This would be in a couple years. I live around ATL, but grew up in FL. Would Juilliard meet my needs? Or is it simply theater. What do you think is a better school for me? Any feedback is fine. Thanks!

My advice? Try either a double major or a major/minor dealie at NYU. NYU seems to be your dream school, and you seem to have a passion for journalism as well as acting. If you want the best of both worlds, go for a double major in Theatre/Journalism at NYU or major in Theater with your minor in Journalism. Good luck! I wish you the best!
