scince i was 1 of the few that got picked,i had ot make like an appointment.

i think it is a scam because everyone of my friends that act including me all of their agents get 10% and that is the best amount plus i was in your position they told me that i will be doing a M&M cermecial but then they are like give us $5000 and you can take our classes then you can start acting for me this was a scam and after 2 months i got a real agent and he told me all about scams and you shouldnt take your friend because it is about business

it may be ok for your friend to go.. but i wouldn't have her push to be in your commercial.. it would be ok i figure so they could see what it would be like.

other than that.. i think they may get you to do a read thru... then act out the part. the better one gets picked. you get your face out on television.. and you exceed in the t.v. world :D

Do some research to make sure that they are reputable. Don't sign a contract without hiring a lawyer to review it. Good idea to have a parent with you for awhile until you learn the business. Be very careful a lot of drugs and bad people mixed in the business. Don't take your friend, wait until you get a few commercials under your belt. You don't need the drama or problems of a friend right now. If this is going to be your career then you need to take it seriously. You certianly would not take her to your job if you were working at the mall right?

They are going to ask you to take expensive classes, Big SCAM. If they are for real, do not take your friend, take a parent. You did not tell us their name, so we don't know if they are a scam or not but if you did we could tell you, it sounds like the way the scams operate. I hope it is for real. If so, your parent will sign a contract for you and you will do the Gap commercial and they will send you a check for 85% of what your pay was. Could be just extra work, but that is a start.
