Chicago musical about the band?

Question:Isn't this about the band Chicago? I am trying to get hired as the musical director and said I have done this show many times. I used to play in a Chicago cover band and figure its pretty much the same thing.

HELL NO!!!!! its about murder, sex, jail, attention, and selfishness! i'm 13, saw the musical last night, and know this ans you didnt! you have a computer look it up!!!! rent the movie Chicago (same thing) with Richard Gere, Catherine-Zeta Jones, and Renee Zellweger! i'm listening to the soundtrack now!!! gee whiz...

It's very different, and has nothing to do with the band at all. Try and find a recording of the stage version and definitely rent the movie as soon as you can. It's a very cool show, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the band. Good luck to you!
