to be frank it is a hard job to get into, so you have to be 100% passionate about acting, you have to show people( casting directer) you really want the job and serious about it. the motervation as to be there beacuse it may take months or years to get the dream role. but take any role that is given to you beacuse the more your seen, even if its a one liner, the more you get reconised and somebody may have a character, which they think you will look perfect for the part. Also the more you do the more experience you get. Try also to have other skills like stage frighting, singing, dancing. to show you can be an all rounder. and when your not got an acting job do a job thats related, such as working in a theater so you still have a foot in the door and your ears open to the acting world. try looking at this book Acting Professionally: Raw Facts About Careers in Acting - Robert Cohen;

So act. Get into all the church and school plays. Tryout for community theatre. Take all the speech and drama stuff at school and be in all the events. It is terribly hard to become a professional actor.

to become an actor you have to sign up for an agency, and get auditions

how hard it is depends on your skill

definetly audition for plays at your school and do debate/speech. it's really fun. and if you want to try professional acting then really should ask yourself why you want to go profesional, is it because you want to be famous and have people admire you? or is it really for the love of acting? If it's really for the love of acting then try going professional because you really have nothing to lose. But if you just want fame, then maybe you should think about doing something else.

I have been acting since i was like 3 and have only been in like 4 camercels, i have a agent , and do many acting classes, but for me its hard because i addition for parts around my age but i look like 4 years to young, but have almost been in a couple of minor parts like in ice princess a few years ago. althow it is very hard to to get parts unless you have good looks. well good luck!
