Show your personality. A headshot should look like you. If you have good teeth, show them off. You can smile, laugh, and have fun with it. Wear something comfortable with no writing on the front. The color shouldn't matter if you are taking a black & white photo, which is the standard way to do it. The only part of the shirt that will be in a headshot is the collar, so pick something carefully and wear whatever looks best on you: polo, tee, v-neck, collar, henley, etc. Tip: Standard headshots are 8x10, black & white. Make sure you have a decent photographer and there is no clutter in the background. Outside shots are fine, you may want to get one against a white wall though. Wherever you take it, make sure the lighting is good, and that your photo looks professional. Good luck!

Hmm.. well, i would say to pose in whatever pose best fits you, but then after you find your pose, look at yourself and pretend your some1 else.... and then try to get the impression that some1 else would get. cause you know yourself, but new people don't, so try to get the picture to be as much like the "simple" you as it can get.... and if its better outside, then do it outside.... if it requires a smile, then give it a smile. =]

Pel, a smile always helps, a simple blouse, and a clear background, good luck.
